As Christmas draws closer, Neuways – a Derby-based IT provider – has expanded its charitable work with Save the Children.
Neuways, now in its fifth year of seasonal charity work for Save the Children, raises money annually by supporting their National Christmas Jumper Day initiative.
This Christmas, the business is now going one step further.
Rather than sending Christmas cards and seasonal corporate gifts, Neuways will instead donate the allocated funds directly to the charity, extending the business’s long-term commitment to charity fundraising.
This latest initiative allows Neuways to continue supporting the work of Save the Children, whilst also reducing their carbon footprint, in line with their corporate social responsibility strategy.
Commenting on the initiative, Neuways’ Managing Director, Martin Roberts, enthused about this year’s charity work.
“Save the Children’s work, feeding and immunising underprivileged children in the UK and around the world, is phenomenal. We’re really proud to contribute towards Save the Children’s excellent work.
Neuways usually sends Christmas cards and gifts to our customers and suppliers, but this year we’re directing that funding exclusively to Save the Children.
By not sending cards, we’re also able to reduce our paper waste trail – and make a positive contribution to a really important cause.”

In the past 30 years, the charity has helped halve the number of children dying before their fifth birthday. And in 2018, over 40 million children were reached as a direct result of fundraising.
