It is important you can demonstrate the following experience and/or knowledge:

Essential attributes and skills

  • At least 12 months working with Business Central
  • Experience of working as 1st/2nd line support
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administration and organisational skills

Desirable attributes and skills

  • Jet reports knowledge
  • Writing SQL queries
  • Warehousing/WMS experience
  • Finance knowledge or certification
  • PowerBI and PowerApps knowledge

Daily Routines

  • Provide 1st/2nd line support to our customers – triaging calls and solving them or escalating them to our Consulting colleagues.
  • Document problem descriptions and resolutions in the helpdesk system for each case.
  • Set up and maintain users as required for our customers.
  • Set up and maintain environments for new projects and refresh and maintain as required up to go live.
  • Contribute to the development of customisations by checking functional specifications and applying any technical knowledge that you have.

  • Document Business Processes
  • Be the first point of contact with our clients
  • Log, diagnose and resolve client support calls via email, phone and portal
  • Document problem descriptions and resolutions in the helpdesk system for each case
  • Work with customers, colleagues and Microsoft and third-party vendors to investigate, test and develop solutions to resolve client issues
  • Communicate the status of issues to clients and to the team
  • Identify high priority customer issues and escalate them to management
  • Work alongside the senior consultants within the delivery team and aid in the delivery of Business Central projects if the opportunity arises.

Key Relationships

  • Business Central Consultants – assisting them by providing backup services such as developing training and testing.
  • Development Team – ensuring that specifications are reviewed for quality before development and testing after delivery.
  • First-line support – assisting colleagues with calls from our D365BC customer users and helping them resolve the issues – taking responsibility for issues that cannot be resolved by the first line team and escalating calls to our Consultant colleagues or Microsoft as required.
  • Our Customers – delivering superb service and developing great working relationships with our customers.

Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role preferred (minimum one year). The candidate needs a minimum of five GSCEs at grade C/5 or above in Maths and English. Strong written & verbal communication skills are essential. Also, a full driving license is required.

Job Details

Pay – £18000 to £22000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job type – Full time and permanent (Monday to Friday).
